Volunteering with Gillian's Place
Over the years we have relied on the significant help of our many extraordinary volunteers within the shelter and working outside on our fundraising events. It is with great respect we recognize the generosity of their time and dedication. The involvement of our volunteers is crucial to the success of our organization. Hundreds of hours every year our volunteers are found working on many tasks. They may be sorting items and restocking shelves and cupboards, assisting with the holiday season pick up and deliveries of new donations for the many women and children we serve. They may be helping with the cleaning and maintenance of our building or making sure our events are a huge success. Event committee volunteer members liaise with the community promoting and encouraging involvement in events on behalf of Gillian’s Place.
Have you considered giving your time to help the abused women and their children in need? The services offered by Gillian's Place are made possible in part by the volunteers who share their time and skills which assist in providing hope, empowering the women and children who require our services.
