Julia, an Applewood School student, organized a mitten drive for Gillian's Place at her school and brought in 235 pairs of mittens, 14 hats and lots of toys, crafts and candy for the children at Gillian's Place! Thank you for all your hard work and giving heart Julia.

Julia was also featured in the 12 Days of Giving series in The Standard.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in our Adopt a Family program this Holiday Season. Your thoughtfulness helped us to provide families, who are struggling to make ends meet, a memorable Christmas.

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Star of Hope program! Thanks to you, we are able to be there for the abused women and their children who need Gillian's Place. The messages of hope and support we received were placed on the Christmas tree in the shelter's living room. Your messages helped to encourage and inspire our residents to continue their journey in a life free of abuse.

Thank you to the wonderful organizations who participated in our Tree Tag program this Holiday season. Your generous donations helped bring the joy of the holidays to the families being helped by Gillian's Place.
